A Day in the Studio

The weather has been amazing this weekend! Too bad I was stuck indoors printing in the studio yesterday...oh well. My back aches like crazy becaues yesterday I was hunched over printing from 12pm-5pm. Man, what a day. As I was in the studio, I thought of how much time I'm sacrificing for my senior thesis project and why it's all going to be worth it. Last week I was really down in the gutter, but now it's all better and I am still working.

I'm excited for the summer even though I have no idea what I'm really doing. (Besides going to London.) I have a few thoughts here and there...I know I'll be back in LA, NY, and I hope to visit Italy again. I LOVE ITALY. The culture is amazing and the sights are beautiful!

Hmm...what else to say. Today I'm going back to the silkscreening studio for another day of printing hang tags. fun, right? hahaha. I hope to finish early so I can walk around the village for a while. We'll see if that really happens.

ok so anyways, weekend was really good! celebrated the meaning of easter with RWC :) went shopping in soho with hannah and christine...that was a lot of fun! I miss walking around that area. I also had turkish food... it was sooo good!

1) i've realized that there are only a few friends that can understand me.

2) today is friday and the week is finally over. yay. besides that, there is a reason to celebrate today and i'm thankful. :)

3) I've also realized that I am going to miss college when everything is over.

4) This weekend is pretty hectic but I'm looking forward to it!

Stressed and Tired

I don't know why I decided to start this thing... maybe it's because I have a lot to write about. anyways, things have been extremely stressful lately. My senior thesis project is due really soon and I still have to do lots of work for it. I'm still interested in my topic though, which kind've surprises me. I always get bored so quickly...especially when I work on something every single day. I'm excited that in the next couple of weeks I will be in the printmaking studio and silkscreening! Sometimes I wish I could make a living as a printmaker. I know you're probably laughing, but I am completely serious. There is something so great about producing design by hand. It's the entire process that I enjoy. (Not just turning on the printer)

Ok, that sounds really nerdy. Hmm..I am graduating on May 18 and the exhibition is on May 17. It is all so exciting! I can't believe that college will finally be over. I might not even stay in New York...that's a depressing thought that I won't elaborate on. It is snowing today. Can you believe it? It's April! Whatttt is going on! It drives me crazy. The weather tweaks my mood.
